Alan Brew is a former Financial Times editor and journalist with more than 20 years of international experience in the branding industry.

He has held senior executive positions with the world’s leading branding firms, including Landor Associates as Managing Director Europe and Executive President Worldwide; Worldwide President for Enterprise IG of London; and Managing Director of Siegel & Gale in Los Angeles. He was also a founder of Addison, a brand strategy firm, in San Francisco.

Alan is a Principal with RiechesBaird and also leads the energy practice. He has worked with more than 15 energy companies and utilities, including Alliant Energy, AES Corp, AGL Resources, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Edison International, EQT, EnCana. Entergy, Northwest Natural, PG&E. Progress Energy and Sempra Energy. Most recently he directed the dual brand development program for Entergy of New Orleans, which involved the brand development for the spin-off of the company’s nuclear plants to create Enexus Energy, the first pure play nuclear company in North America. He is currently leading the rebranding program for EnCana. Canada’s largest corporation and one of the largest energy companies in North America.
